FAQ

What can I expect during my first visit?

During the consultation period (1-3 visits), we will spend some time getting to know each other to determine if this will be a good fit. This is also a time to understand your concerns and how I might be helpful. Once this is accomplished, we will design a treatment plan and begin to address the problem.

What is your policy on privacy?

I offer a safe and confidential environment for all consultations. No information from your treatment will be discussed with a third party unless necessary for your treatment and with your consent. The only exceptions to confidentiality are instances of imminent risk of harm to self or others.

Do you have same day appointments?

I am dedicated to offering an appointment as soon as possible, often within 7 days.

How long does treatment take?

The length of treatment is highly variable, depending on the nature of the issue being addressed, your goals for treatment, and the therapeutic modalities used.

What is the fee for your services?

The fee schedule for an initial evaluation, a second opinion consultation, and follow up appointments can be found by clicking here.

Is there a fee for missed appointments?

Yes, there is a fee for appointments missed or late-cancelled based on the service reserved. All appointments must be rescheduled at least 72 hrs prior to your appointment time to avoid incurring a fee.

What is your availability after hours?

For non-urgent issues, like a medication refill or scheduling, please leave a message via email or phone. All messages are returned promptly.

What do I do if I am feeling suicidal or unsafe?

For urgent needs or safety concerns, please call the national suicide hotline at 1-800-273-8255, 911, and/or go to the nearest emergency room.
